Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate testing activities across the software development lifecycle to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform manual testing of backend services, APIs, and applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and analyze test results.
- Investigate issues and support troubleshooting activities with development teams.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining automated tests to improve coverage and efficiency.
- Integrate testing activities into the software delivery process and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of software testing and quality assurance experience, including manual and automated testing.
- Experience testing backend systems and APIs.
- In-depth experience with Postman, SoapUI, and JMeter.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, including test design, automation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Practical experience using SQL for data verification and test setup.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Jira and Xray for test management.
- Excellent spoken and written Italian and English.
- ISTQB certification or similar is preferred.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
- Strong ownership, proactive attitude, and willingness to contribute to day-to-day testing activities.
