Base Salary
$171k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Integrate vendor components into a common software framework with low-level communication over CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Implement RTOS applications for the product.
- Architect and develop high-quality C code for real-time embedded and safety-critical systems.
- Support hardware bring-up, including low-level debugging of boards and SoCs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to bring up custom software on new devices, productionize it, and maintain company products.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on embedded devices.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong embedded software development experience using C, C++, and assembly languages.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS, Linux, and/or ARM systems.
- Experience debugging embedded systems using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG.
- Prior experience developing on-vehicle technology is preferred.
- Experience with ZephyrOS and FreeRTOS is preferred.
- Ability to work with safety-critical robotic systems with real-time constraints is preferred.
- Expertise with embedded microprocessor tools, hardware peripherals, and common buses is preferred.
