Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, modernization, optimization, and operational stability of business-critical enterprise platforms and applications.
- Define platform strategy, roadmaps, technical requirements, architecture decisions, and execution plans with business, product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders.
- Implement Generative AI solutions, automation, monitoring, search, and productivity improvements.
- Design and support OpenSearch/Elasticsearch enterprise search solutions and optimize Oracle/SQL databases.
- Support integrations across APIs, microservices, mainframe systems, batch processing frameworks, distributed applications, and cloud environments.
- Provide production support, incident and problem management, root-cause analysis, performance monitoring, and service reliability improvements.
- Drive automation, platform resilience, operational efficiency, security, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Guide engineering teams through the software development lifecycle, mentor developers, and promote engineering excellence.
- Monitor platform health, adoption, service performance, operational metrics, and regulatory or service-level compliance.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in software development, platform engineering, application support, or related technology roles.
- Strong experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale software solutions and distributed systems.
- Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, and enterprise AI adoption.
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar observability and application performance monitoring platforms.
- Experience implementing and supporting OpenSearch or Elasticsearch solutions.
- Strong expertise in Oracle, SQL, database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience supporting and integrating mainframe applications and infrastructure, batch operations, scheduling frameworks, and enterprise processing environments.
- Proven experience with production support, incident management, problem management, root-cause analysis, monitoring, logging, observability, and operational excellence.
- Experience designing and supporting APIs, microservices, enterprise integrations, cloud computing, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with secure software development practices and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.
- Typically requires a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Large enterprise or highly regulated environment experience is an asset, and financial services experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, decision-making, and technical leadership skills.
