Responsibilities

  • Build and operate scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Develop and enhance Java backend services for financial integrations.
  • Design data models for accounting and financial reporting.
  • Improve integrations with external financial systems.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering teams on technical solutions.
  • Enhance the scalability and resilience of financial data pipelines.
  • Contribute to engineering best practices through automated testing and code reviews.
  • Drive technical decisions for long-term maintainability of the platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building backend systems and data-intensive applications.
  • Proficiency in Scala or Java and distributed data processing frameworks like Scio or Apache Beam.
  • Experience designing reliable backend services and scalable data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms such as Flyte or Airflow.
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals including continuous delivery and automated testing.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in financial or regulated data domains is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
