Responsibilities
- Identify vulnerabilities in Apple platforms using static and dynamic analysis techniques.
- Develop proof-of-concepts for discovered vulnerabilities.
- Use fuzzers, LLMs, reverse-engineering tools, and custom internal tooling.
- Develop custom vulnerability-research tools as needed.
- Present research findings in a useful and accessible way.
- Conduct reverse engineering and vulnerability research across Apple applications, userland components, kernels, and system-level software.
Requirements
- Experience in vulnerability research, offensive security, and reverse engineering on Apple platforms.
- Experience developing tools and proof-of-concepts in Python, Rust, or another modern programming language.
- Skills in debugging and low-level programming with languages such as C, Swift, C++, or Objective-C.
- Ability to reverse engineer ARM64 binaries using IDA, Binary Ninja, and Frida.
- Experience or interest in Apple platform internals, security features, exploit mitigations, XPC protocols, private frameworks, userland daemons, iOS applications, kernel research, XNU, or IOKit.
- Passion for learning, reverse engineering, and solving new technical challenges.
