Base Salary
$128k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement well-scoped software tasks and projects across Java and Python services hosted in Kubernetes and Snowpark Container Services.
- Participate in the software lifecycle from design through deployment support.
- Develop, test, debug, triage bugs, and participate in a support rotation.
- Build intelligent data applications using structured and unstructured data to reduce customer support friction.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, design, stakeholders, and external developers.
- Take ownership of work quality, completeness, performance, operability, maintainability, and customer experience.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science, MIS, or an equivalent discipline.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, Scala, or GoLang; proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus.
- Working knowledge of modern application design, API design patterns, performance, and scale.
- Familiarity with unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.
- Ability to debug code and develop troubleshooting skills in a cloud environment.
- Ability to write high-quality, readable, maintainable code.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Internship or professional experience is a plus.
