Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support digital and AI-enabled manufacturing solutions that improve operational efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making.
- Design and support integrations among manufacturing systems, equipment data sources, enterprise systems, and data platforms.
- Develop and optimize databases, data pipelines, APIs, reporting solutions, and manufacturing data flows.
- Build AI agents that make business-context-aware decisions and execute actions across enterprise systems within defined guardrails.
- Develop, test, and deploy AI-powered products, applications, and intelligent workflow solutions.
- Translate manufacturing and cross-functional business requirements into digital solutions with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, OT, and IT teams.
- Support testing, validation, deployment, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of manufacturing applications and integrations.
- Drive automation, analytics, predictive troubleshooting, and digital transformation initiatives for smart manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in software development, application development, systems engineering, system integration, data engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server database design and development experience, including query optimization, views, and stored procedures.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, C#, Java, JavaScript, or equivalent object-oriented languages.
- Experience developing and supporting software applications, APIs, and system integrations.
- Experience with source control and version management tools such as GitHub.
- Experience building and deploying AI agents in enterprise environments, including agents that coordinate activities across business platforms.
- Experience with multi-agent architectures, agent orchestration frameworks, tool calling, workflow execution, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge retrieval, and reasoning systems.
- Preferred experience includes Power BI, Databricks, Azure, cloud technologies, data pipelines, ETL/ELT, analytics platforms, manufacturing systems, operational technology, equipment connectivity, industrial automation, vector databases, semantic search, and regulated manufacturing.
