Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java EE and Core Java applications.
- Build RESTful web services and service-oriented integrations with internal and external systems.
- Design database solutions using SQL, data modeling, and MongoDB aggregation pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Kafka-based event-driven and distributed messaging systems.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across application, integration, and infrastructure layers.
- Write and maintain automated tests using JUnit and BDD frameworks.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Java EE/Core Java, including Java 21, object-oriented design, design patterns, and application architecture.
- Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful web services, service-oriented architecture, and system integration.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and BDD.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database design, data modeling, and MongoDB aggregation and pipeline operations.
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven or distributed messaging systems, and Unix/Linux environments.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with experience translating technical designs into scalable solutions.
- Familiarity with AngularJS or ExtJS and AI-assisted development tools including Claude and GitHub Copilot.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, including experience mentoring junior team members and working across global, cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of both French and English is required.
