Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, debug, and maintain Canton-based applications using DAML.
- Translate client requirements into technical specifications and develop DAML smart contracts.
- Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues.
- Create documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide team members in a collaborative development environment.
- Participate in on-call support rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- At least four years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with DAML and a good understanding of Canton public and private networks.
- Strong programming background, including languages such as Scala or Haskell.
- Strong understanding of distributed ledger technologies and their applications in the financial sector.
- Proficiency with relational database management systems and APIs.
- Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure and message queuing systems.
- Experience using REST and gRPC for system integration.
- Knowledge of other blockchain protocols, including EVM-based protocols, is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, adaptability, time-management, and task-ownership skills.
