Responsibilities
- Finalize requirements with business analysts, platform administrators, developers, and other technical stakeholders across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem.
- Write and review technical specifications for Apex, Lightning Web Components, Experience Cloud sites, AI agents, automations, and integrated systems.
- Design, build, test, and troubleshoot Salesforce solutions involving Apex, LWC, Flow automation, third-party integrations, and complex data models.
- Develop and govern AI-driven agents and automations in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, including Agentforce, while validating outputs for security, compliance, and quality.
- Implement coding standards, development processes, code reviews, AI-assisted development practices, release management, packaging, and compliance controls.
- Resolve technical issues across Salesforce and adjacent platforms including Oracle Sales Cloud Incentive Comp, Gainsight, and Monday.com.
- Mentor and train junior software engineers and support their use of Salesforce development standards and AI-assisted tooling.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud capabilities, and evolving AI development tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external SI/ISV partners to deliver scalable cross-functional solutions for a 2,000+ user organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building and supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations with hands-on Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certification is strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce development methodologies, release cycles, and org governance, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, data manipulation and optimization, bulkification, governor-limit-aware design, and asynchronous processing.
- Deep Service Cloud knowledge covering case management, Omni-Channel routing, queues, skills-based routing, entitlements, milestones, Knowledge, and preferably Service Cloud Voice or CTI integration.
- Strong Experience Cloud knowledge covering LWR and Aura sites, community templates, sharing sets and rules, guest-user security, and partner/customer self-service portals.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, sharing and security models, large data volume design, Salesforce Connect, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, external objects, and middleware such as MuleSoft.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, Flow Orchestrator, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Java/J2EE, HTML, XML, SQL, and .NET.
- Hands-on experience with Agentforce, Einstein, AI coding assistants, AI-generated code evaluation, AI-assisted testing, and security, compliance, and quality validation.
- Knowledge of Apex design patterns, trigger frameworks, CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Salesforce DX/SFDX pipelines, and Apex and LWC testing.
- Strong research, communication, technical writing, stakeholder collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with regulated, audited, or compliance-driven release environments is a plus.
