Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement IAM applications and automated solutions using AWS, Azure, Teleport, and Terraform.
- Drive IAM projects end to end, including requirements definition, architecture, rollout, and operationalization.
- Design scalable access models and role-assignment patterns across AWS, Kubernetes, SaaS applications, and internal systems.
- Operationalize access logging and metrics in SIEM tools and build reporting to identify risky access and drift.
- Design and improve user access review processes and solutions to meet compliance requirements while reducing approver burden.
- Identify high-risk permissions and misuse paths, implement mitigations and controls, and drive secure-by-default adoption.
- Apply sound security judgment to distinguish meaningful IAM risk from noise and escalate actionable mitigations.
- Document and standardize access procedures, runbooks, and automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining IAM products or tools.
- Experience writing production-ready scalable software, Infrastructure as Code, and reliable automation.
- Strong knowledge of IAM best practices, including least privilege, privilege escalation paths, separation of duties, break-glass access, and auditability.
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- US citizenship is preferred.
