Responsibilities
- Own the security roadmap for Trimble’s core GNSS receivers.
- Design and implement secure workflows, security frameworks, and networking protocols for embedded receivers.
- Act as the primary cybersecurity authority by identifying weaknesses and coordinating vulnerability documentation and remediation.
- Define software architectures deployable across multiple operating systems for next-generation products.
- Collaborate with engineering, the Trimble Cloud team, Product Marketing, and international R&D teams to align security requirements and ensure secure product communication.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise designing secure workflows and implementing defensive security measures in embedded environments.
- Deep understanding of networking and communication protocols.
- Significant experience with C/C++, real-time operating systems, mutexes, semaphores, and task priorities.
- Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux and various Linux distributions.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with GNSS or high-precision positioning, cloud-to-device secure integration, or transitioning legacy systems to next-generation architectures is preferred.
