Responsibilities
- Partner with Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to identify security risks early.
- Define and standardize threat modeling frameworks and security design standards.
- Lead security design reviews for complex, distributed systems.
- Oversee security code reviews and API security testing.
- Architect and drive the roadmap for security automation.
- Design and lead the deployment of automation frameworks for cloud-native pipelines.
- Identify new vulnerability classes and lead research initiatives.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of hands-on Application Security experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security fundamentals for web applications and cloud-native platforms.
- Ability to partner with Engineering and Product leadership.
- Experience in leading technical investigations and responses to security incidents.
- Proven experience in evolving the software development lifecycle for security.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java for building security automation frameworks.
- Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives in distributed environments.
