Base Salary
$136k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform technical security reviews of third-party services, including AI/ML integrations, cloud architectures, and services handling sensitive customer data.
- Trace data flows, threat model third-party use cases, evaluate vendor penetration test reports, and recommend proportionate remediation.
- Build or contribute to AI-powered security tooling and automation by scripting solutions and improving runbooks.
- Communicate security risks and recommendations to service teams and leadership, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Author and refine security decision rubrics and implementation patterns for repeatable future assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with web protocols, common security attacks, and remediation.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent experience.
- Experience solving basic problems by writing code or scripts with some assistance.
- Preferred experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
