Base Salary
$240k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build systems that enable autonomous buildings to operate and communicate intelligently.
- Develop and own customer-facing product features end-to-end from design through deployment.
- Improve the scalability and reliability of core infrastructure.
- Propose and implement architecture and design-pattern improvements.
- Collaborate with product and design to turn AI capabilities into user-facing experiences.
- Continuously ship features and improvements to production systems.
- Apply engineering practices involving testing, observability, and continuous integration.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ownership, urgency, pragmatism, and ability to build and ship software in a startup environment.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance and move quickly from idea to implementation.
- Solid understanding of system design and scalable architecture principles.
- At least 1 year of experience with Java, C#, Go, or Python.
- Willingness to work in person at the office 4–5 days per week.
- Preferred: understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven distributed systems.
- Preferred: understanding of machine learning and data.
- Preferred: AWS experience.
