Base Salary

$272k - $431k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Set the technical direction and multi-year model and pipeline strategy for content authenticity AI.
  • Design and build efficient computer vision and video AI models for synthetic content detection, manipulation identification, and semantic plausibility analysis.
  • Extend authenticity analysis across additional modalities, including audio.
  • Architect end-to-end forensics pipelines covering data strategy, evaluation methodology, deployment, benchmarking, and failure-mode analysis.
  • Optimize accuracy, latency, and throughput while taking models from research prototypes to real-time production on NVIDIA hardware.
  • Partner with NVIDIA Research and AI4M product teams to translate state-of-the-art research into production and shape technical roadmaps.
  • Serve as the technical authority on media authenticity by mentoring engineers, reviewing designs, and representing NVIDIA externally.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant engineering or research experience in deep learning and computer vision.
  • A track record of setting technical direction for a research area across multiple teams or projects.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a system or model family from research concept through production deployment at scale.
  • Hands-on development experience with deep learning frameworks and deployment stacks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, TensorRT, Triton, and WinML.
  • Ability to scope ambiguous problems into executable roadmaps, define milestones, and lead development independently.
  • Experience influencing product and research roadmaps through technical vision rather than positional authority.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in an evolving R&D environment.
  • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in digital forensics, media provenance, content authenticity, synthetic video detection, C2PA, standards or benchmark initiatives, publications, patents, and evaluation frameworks or datasets involving expensive or contested ground truth.
