Responsibilities
- Build new features and fix bugs in the cybersecurity vulnerability management platform.
- Develop React frontend components.
- Use third-party REST APIs to build ETL integrations.
- Write and improve automated tests.
- Debug issues and learn to diagnose distributed systems.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Complete a well-scoped project and present the work and learnings to the engineering team.
Requirements
- Have previous internship, co-op, or equivalent experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Be currently enrolled in a college or university program and plan to graduate on or before June 2027.
- Be pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Be interested in beginning a software engineering career and willing to learn, ask questions, and receive feedback.
- Preferred experience includes PHP, Python, React, TypeScript, MySQL, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, unit testing, Git, Linux, CI/CD concepts, or Agile development.
- Interest in cybersecurity, integrations, or developer tooling is preferred.
