Base Salary
$40k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software application lifecycle.
- Support systems engineering, requirements analysis, technical design, system integration, implementation, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain software and web applications for collecting, querying, and safely exploring Dark Web and end-to-end encrypted application data.
- Work as part of an agile development team using established development processes, design patterns, and open-source tools.
- Use debugging and runtime skills while staying current with software development technologies and practices.
Requirements
- Experience with modern software development using Python, JavaScript, Go, or similar languages as part of a development team.
- Working knowledge of GitHub for task tracking, branch-based development, and pull requests.
- Experience with modern web application development using JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, or React.
- Experience with debugging and runtime operations.
- Currently enrolled full time in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program in Computer Science, Software Development/Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
- Preferred experience includes Linux, ElasticSearch, Amazon Web Services, Secure Shell, remote computing, web scraping, and Tor Network routing.
