Responsibilities
- Build creative technical solutions to address complex business problems.
- Assist with application development involving AI, HTML, JavaScript, and data design and analytics.
- Apply planning, analysis, detailed design, coding, testing, implementation, and support practices across software platforms.
- Learn and apply Thrivent’s software development and deployment processes and standards.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of software assets under direct supervision and mentorship.
- Collaborate with teammates across diverse skill sets and experience levels to deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Be a current junior in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, or MIS, graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a proven history of excellent academic performance.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude, problem identification and analytical skills, organization, initiative, and personal management.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Be available to work full-time during normal business hours for the internship.
- Be able to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

- 12-week summer internship with competitive compensation of $25.00-$28.00 per hour.
