Responsibilities
- Develop new features and functionality for Vena’s financial planning platform.
- Collaborate with developers in Agile Scrum teams to design, build, and deploy product improvements.
- Identify and resolve production issues while contributing to platform stability and reliability.
- Take ownership of well-defined product areas and gain hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Work with TypeScript, React, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Azure.
- Contribute to Microsoft ecosystem integrations involving Excel, Teams, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Azure.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and participate in company initiatives, hackathons, guilds, and cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Registered with an accredited cooperative education program and available for a full-time co-op internship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in writing clean, maintainable code.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Initiative, ownership, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
- Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions.
- Must be enrolled in a registered university co-op program in Ontario and available for a 12- or 16-month co-op starting in May 2027.
