Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot software features and solutions with support from experienced engineers.
- Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-tested code and contribute to product enhancements and new capabilities.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle, including implementation, code reviews, root-cause analysis, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and other software tests.
- Collaborate with Software Developers, Test Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers, and other partners.
- Contribute to code quality, engineering practices, tooling, automation, development process improvements, and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in technical, design, and architectural discussions and progressively take ownership of development tasks.
- Explore emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity and solve technical problems.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming experience gained through coursework, personal projects, internships, hackathons, open-source contributions, or other hands-on experience.
- Familiarity with one or more of C#, Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving concepts.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and version control.
- Interest in web applications, APIs, cloud technologies, data platforms, automation, or AI.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
