Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and maintaining processes for issue prevention, incident investigation, and timely resolution.
  • Work with business partners to define requirements and design, develop, and deploy system enhancements.
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, debugging, code reviews, and defect troubleshooting.
  • Document system implementation, deployment, and code deployment plans.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept work on new technologies and document findings.
  • Conduct system research, analysis, detailed design, usability analysis, and problem resolution.
  • Respond to business and user inquiries about business applications.
  • Apply software development and project management methodologies to assigned development tasks.
  • Follow secure coding practices and keep current with technology trends, TD services, applications, infrastructure, and analytical tools.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant technology program such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, Financial Analysis and Risk Management, or Computing.
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Understand data structures and algorithms, object-oriented programming concepts, and SOLID principles.
  • Demonstrate strong coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understand at least one programming language and relational databases.
  • Have familiarity with source code management such as Git, Jira, Confluence, and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with listed programming languages, databases, operating systems, web technologies, development frameworks, and enterprise tools is an asset.
  • Practical knowledge of data generation, data masking, data subsetting, data archiving, data virtualization, data modelling, or database development is an asset.
  • Applications must include a resume of no more than two pages and a school transcript.
