Responsibilities
- Translate user requirements into technical specifications and facilitate technical requirements with users.
- Design, develop, test, implement, document, troubleshoot, and maintain software programs, business systems, and service applications.
- Apply algorithms, data structures, programming languages, and software platforms to develop technology applications and services.
- Support system design and advise on security requirements, logging, error handling, performance standards, and other non-functional requirements.
- Evaluate new technologies and assess upstream and downstream impacts on processes, data, and risk.
- Follow software development lifecycle, release management, and version-control processes.
- Interpret and document client requirements and collaborate across functional teams.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to studies after the co-op/internship.
- Demonstrate technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience.
- Have foundational proficiency in creative thinking, relationship management, emotional agility, quality assurance and testing, cloud computing, microservices, and technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.
- Have intermediate proficiency in programming, application integration, test-driven development, system development lifecycle, troubleshooting, system and technology integration, communication, collaboration, analytical problem solving, and data-driven decision making.
- Demonstrate adaptability, learning agility, and a strong desire to learn.
