Responsibilities
- Build full-stack, customer-facing features from problem definition through implementation, testing, and release.
- Work across TypeScript and Node.js backend services and React Native frontends with mentorship.
- Use AI development tools while reviewing, testing, and improving generated code and user experiences.
- Collaborate with Design, Product, and CX on improvements and review customer feedback after release.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, and production releases.
Requirements
- Be currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related post-secondary program and available for the full 8-month term.
- Have experience building software through coursework, personal projects, internships, open source, or student teams.
- Have foundational JavaScript or TypeScript experience and interest in learning Node.js, React, React Native, or APIs.
- Have basic comfort with Git, debugging, and testing.
- Demonstrate interest in product thinking, user needs, tradeoffs, and understanding why features matter.
- Communicate clearly and show humility, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully and take ownership of reviewing, testing, and improving shipped work.
- Helpful qualifications include AWS or serverless experience, mobile development or release workflow exposure, logging, performance debugging, analytics, experiments, event tracking, A/B testing, open-source contributions, or public project write-ups.

- Compensation is $50-$70 CAD per hour.
- Eight-month co-op term from January through August 2027.
