Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new and existing applications.
  • Produce technical deliverables from inception through deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable code aligned with engineering standards.
  • Participate in technical discussions, software development lifecycle activities, and team ceremonies.
  • Conduct unit testing and support code coverage expectations.
  • Partner with developers, architects, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Explore emerging technologies and contribute ideas that improve engineering practices.
  • Follow application security standards and practices to produce secure, vulnerability-free code.
  • Support peers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Requirements

  • Be an undergraduate student completing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related STEM program, with anticipated graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Be a current undergraduate third-year student available for the four-month work term.
  • Have strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, or SQL.
  • Understand data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Demonstrate coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Have familiarity with Git, SQL databases, modern development pipelines, source control, testing practices, and modern development tools.
  • Show interest in capital markets, financial technology, or complex systems development.
  • Previous co-op or internship experience is preferred.
  • Submit a cover letter, resume, most recent unofficial transcripts, and projected graduation date.
