Base Salary
$143k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
- Drive the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles and conduct system design reviews for scalable and resilient systems.
- Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and automation features.
- Design APIs and develop software prototypes to validate technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
- Improve processes, tools, and products through data-driven decision-making and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus 4 years of software engineering or related experience, or 6 years of software engineering or related experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Python, JavaScript, and C++.
- Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including design reviews, deployment, testing, and maintenance.
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions.
- Ability to use data-driven decision-making to define metrics and optimize engineering processes.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree plus 2 years of software engineering experience and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
