Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security assessments of new projects, infrastructure, and code.
- Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in code, systems, and networks using manual testing, automated tools, threat modeling, and threat intelligence.
- Monitor offensive security techniques, application security threats, and blockchain security practices and recommend improvements.
- Write detailed security reports, present findings to management and technical teams, and help prevent real-world attacks.
- Partner with development teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure cryptographic functions are secure and integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Write proof-of-concept exploits, review remediation code, and verify that patches meet repository standards.
- Participate in incident response and incident management activities.
- Lead large cross-team security projects.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with offensive security techniques, focused on blockchain technology and cryptography.
- Strong understanding of security risks, vulnerabilities, and concepts in web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency reviewing JavaScript and TypeScript code, with strong knowledge of application security threats and offensive security techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
