Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and scale high-quality software solutions within established timelines.
- Collaborate with managers, developers, designers, and product managers to satisfy functional requirements and R&D standards.
- Participate in project scoping and scheduling, track tasks, and communicate blockers to stakeholders.
- Maintain accountability for the full code lifecycle, including support for internal and external consumers.
- Build frameworks and tools that improve the development, delivery, testing, and operation of SaaS solutions.
- Follow applicable security policies and processes supporting secure software development.
- Participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS when appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- Typically five years of software development or programming experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages such as Go.
- Experience with public cloud providers.
- Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and ECS.
- Understanding and experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Experience with customer-facing CI/CD SaaS applications.
- An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the stated qualifications.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
