Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and scale high-quality software solutions within established timelines.
  • Collaborate with managers, developers, designers, and product managers to satisfy functional requirements and R&D standards.
  • Participate in project scoping and scheduling, track tasks, and communicate blockers to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accountability for the full code lifecycle, including support for internal and external consumers.
  • Build frameworks and tools that improve the development, delivery, testing, and operation of SaaS solutions.
  • Follow applicable security policies and processes supporting secure software development.
  • Participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
  • Typically five years of software development or programming experience.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages such as Go.
  • Experience with public cloud providers.
  • Experience with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and ECS.
  • Understanding and experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with customer-facing CI/CD SaaS applications.
  • An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the stated qualifications.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
