Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Design and implement reusable, scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable services.
- Provide technical leadership to development and design teams and oversee technical aspects of projects.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions.
- Provide hands-on implementation support across front-end, middle-tier, back-end, infrastructure, and data stores.
- Define coding standards, technical best practices, and strategic technical roadmaps.
- Troubleshoot distributed systems and support large-scale platforms handling complex real-time transactions.
- Mentor software development team members and advise executives on current and emerging technologies.
- Lead organizational innovation through technology exploration, proof-of-concept development, and platform integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically 12+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java, Python, and/or JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience architecting and designing enterprise-wide web application software solutions.
- Experience with cloud-native CI/CD tools and technologies, microservice architecture, and end-to-end UI/API integration.
- Knowledge of REST, gRPC, and GraphQL API protocols.
- Experience designing highly scalable, secure, and easy-to-maintain software solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, solution design, documentation, and technical communication skills.
- Experience refining strategic technical roadmaps and making improvement recommendations.
- Ability to architect, design, review, and document high-level and detailed solutions.
- Experience building large-scale platforms for complex real-time transactions and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Knowledge of core cloud services, serverless approaches, and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of application security best practices and security-by-design principles.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, inspire performance, and drive results.
