Base Salary
$68k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Consult with internal business groups to provide high-level application software development services and technical support.
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain efficient full-stack software applications.
- Build Java and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, features, defect fixes, and production-ready code.
- Integrate AI features including inference endpoints, prompt orchestration, RAG flows, embeddings, guardrails, validation, telemetry, and auditability.
- Design efficient data access, tune connection pools, and implement transactional integrity and error handling.
- Collaborate with technical leads and product partners on requirements, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.
- Support CI/CD builds, tests, artifacts, environment configurations, quality gates, and release safety.
- Contribute to automated testing, observability, code reviews, security, privacy, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 5–9 years of hands-on experience building software with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted coding tools and experience integrating AI features with responsible-use practices.
- Working knowledge of RDBMS technologies such as Oracle and secure, performant service data access.
- Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability.
- Experience with prompt engineering, AI guardrails, telemetry, deterministic model-call wrappers, and AI feature evaluation harnesses.
- Thorough knowledge of frontend and backend development using Java, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with application frameworks, containerization, and multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
- Prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies.
- Experience in securities or financial services is a plus.
