Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using IBM mainframe and allied technologies.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions with architects, product owners, and developers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code and participate in development testing automation and other quality activities.
- Take end-to-end ownership of solutions within an Agile Scrum team, including code reviews, documentation, and Agile ceremonies.
- Translate customer and business needs into technical solutions and support knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of software development experience.
- Experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS, and CICS across application-development phases from requirements and analysis through deployment.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, or cloud environments, especially GCP.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, unit testing, Jira, Confluence, DevOps tools, and Agile teams.
- Production support experience for mainframe batch systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of supply-chain domains and EDI standards and processes is preferred.
