Base Salary
$157k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software infrastructure and integrations across the company’s codebases.
- Develop card payment integrations that communicate with external card networks and payment processors using industry-standard protocols.
- Modify existing software to correct errors and improve performance.
- Develop and direct software system testing, validation, programming, and documentation procedures.
- Implement unit, functional, and integration tests to prevent bugs and regressions.
- Work with engineers across the company to build new features at scale.
- Advise peers on build-system choices, integration architecture, and payment-processing implementation decisions.
- Analyze user needs and payment-processing requirements to assess design feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Set the mission and conduct short- and medium-term planning and prioritization for an engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science or a related field.
- At least two years of software development experience.
- At least two years of experience writing and debugging computer code and writing software to issue and serve HTTP requests.
- At least two years of experience with Java, Ruby, Scala, or Python.
- At least two years of experience with API, REST, SOAP, Agile, Jira, Git, AngularJS, or Node.js.
- At least one year of experience with payins acquiring financial systems, authorization and clearing flows, and major global card networks including Visa and Mastercard.
- At least one year of experience modeling card features in acquiring payment financial-processing systems.
- At least one year of experience working with ISO 8583 messages and data warehouse queries.
- At least one year of experience with cloud environments.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $156,800–$235,200 per year, with equity, company bonus, or sales commissions/bonuses potentially available in addition to base salary.
