Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global platform teams, customers, partners, vendors, solution architects, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Design, implement, and optimize solutions across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Administer, operate, and support platforms powering analytics and AI workloads, including managing customer requests and controlled platform adjustments.
- Monitor platform performance, observability, costs, and resource utilization to identify optimization opportunities and improve reliability.
- Build automation and scalable architectures while documenting operational procedures, guidelines, findings, and reusable patterns.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including RBAC and industry-standard frameworks, to protect intellectual property and sensitive data.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, platform roadmaps, and service offerings and recommend adoption opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2–4 years of Platform Administration and/or Cloud Engineering experience.
- Hands-on production experience administering, deploying, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting Apache Kafka and Kubernetes.
- Experience administering public cloud platforms and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning, Data Science, Generative AI, and Agentic AI concepts and AI/ML platform workloads.
- Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, problem-solving, continuous-learning, and independent project-delivery skills.
- Strong foundation in or administration experience with Unix is preferred.
