Base Salary
$160k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex 3D environments by building automated pipelines for LiDAR point clouds and sensor logs.
- Write algorithms to classify terrain and identify obstacles.
- Manage the geospatial backend using PostGIS/Cloud as the source of truth for operational maps.
- Build high-performance map services to render 3D environments and fleet positions.
Requirements
- B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 6+ years of industry experience as a geospatial engineer.
- Experience with 3D point cloud tools like PDAL, PCL, or Python (Open3D/NumPy).
- Strong knowledge of Graph Theory and pathfinding algorithms.
- Expert-level SQL skills with PostGIS for managing complex geometries.
- Comfortable writing logic to solve geometric problems.
