Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and launch new products on Ramp’s Android app
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to plan and identify key app features
  • Work with engineers to build services supporting the mobile app
  • Ship products and services in cross-functional teams
  • Influence technical design, engineering processes, tools, systems, codebase scalability, and engineering culture

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, with expected graduation between 2026 and 2028
  • Proficiency in Kotlin for Android development
  • Knowledge of Android UI components and the Android SDK
  • Experience contributing to at least one mobile app or several features that reached a large number of users
  • Track record of shipping high-quality products and features or maintaining a portfolio of side projects
  • Strong understanding of mobile design patterns and best practices
  • Understanding of security best practices for mobile apps
  • Preferred experience with React and TypeScript for web apps
  • Preferred experience with Python, Flask, SQL, and OpenAPI for backend development
  • Preferred experience with Compose, MVVM, coroutines, flows, Gradle, OpenAPI, and Buildkite
  • Preferred experience managing apps in Google Play Console
