Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side Java applications for trading platforms.
- Implement scalable solutions using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Optimize applications for high throughput, low latency, multithreading, concurrency, and performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, traders, and other developers.
- Implement unit tests and end-to-end test automation to ensure code quality.
- Participate in DevOps pipeline development and deployment automation using Git, GitLab, Maven, and Jenkins.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 or later with a focus on server-side development.
- Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, and Maven for enterprise application development.
- Experience with at least one web application development framework, such as Angular or React.
- Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and application performance tuning.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with message queue systems such as Kafka or JMS and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Preferred experience with monitoring and observability tools including Splunk, ELK stack, Grafana, or Prometheus.
