Responsibilities
- Develop, extend, execute, and analyze regression, functional, and performance test plans and automation.
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot permutations of software, hardware, and network configurations.
- Develop scripts, programs, and tools for test automation.
- Build testbeds and network topologies, troubleshoot issues, and isolate problems.
- Document and track testing work and participate in code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with software development peers, subject matter experts, and networking experts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of professional software experience focused on system and software QA.
- Strong knowledge of WAN optimization, networking, WAN technologies, product architecture, system internals, and L2/L3/L4-L7 protocols.
- Understanding of AWS or Azure and virtualization technologies such as ESX, KVM, or Hyper-V.
- Experience developing test plans, executing test scenarios, and using software quality assurance processes and automation tools.
- Automation or programming experience in any language.
- Preferred experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Preferred experience with Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, continuous integration, distributed systems, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile SDLC.
- Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
