Base Salary

$70k - $109k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement test plans for new features and bug fixes.
  • Review test results and report on software quality and stability.
  • Test and certify software, SDK, and AI model quality.
  • Develop or manage test automation and support QA processes.
  • Work with account managers and software developers to understand customer requirements and formulate imagery and remote sensing solutions.
  • Collaborate with software development teams on new software and future releases.
  • Test imagery processing and analysis user experiences, workflows, and analytics using customer data.
  • Help develop the roadmap for Imagery and Remote Sensing support across ArcGIS products.
  • Support technology demonstrations for industry events.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for business partners and integrators to ensure interoperability.
  • Create technical samples, blog posts, tutorials, and product documentation.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of industry experience in a software development or QA environment.
  • Strong understanding of image analysis and remote sensing techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with QA processes, test plans, test automation, and product certification.
  • Familiarity with GIS concepts, spatial data, and geospatial workflows.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and AI Prompt Engineering.
  • Effective project, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Technical writing experience, including samples, blog posts, and product documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in a relevant field is recommended.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is recommended.
  • Experience with ArcGIS or open-source GIS software, remote sensing, satellite imagery, multispectral image analysis, and modern desktop user experiences is recommended.
