Responsibilities
- Work on team-wide projects to improve the platform.
- Maintain and enhance Kubernetes clusters (EKS & AKS).
- Implement new tools and projects like Karpenter and Istio.
- Improve infrastructure management by replacing outdated components.
- Support and assist other engineers at Outreach.
- Respond to requests and questions on a dedicated Slack channel.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as a team effort.
- Research new technologies to aid in mission objectives.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Experience in creating and managing production Kubernetes clusters.
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot Kubernetes issues.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems.
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Proficiency in Golang is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Problem solver who embraces automation.
