Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using NestJS.
- Architect APIs, caching layers, queues, and distributed services for high-performance SaaS applications.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST APIs.
- Collaborate closely with frontend and product teams to deliver end-to-end product features.
- Improve application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and technical architecture decisions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging.
- Take ownership of features from design through production in a fast-moving startup environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production SaaS applications.
- Strong expertise with NestJS (mandatory).
- Experience with Redis, caching strategies, and queuing systems such as RabbitMQ or equivalent.
- Strong experience with TypeORM.
- Good knowledge of Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
- Proven experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience building scalable backend systems with asynchronous architectures.
- Fluent English with strong communication skills.
- Ability to effectively use AI coding assistants to accelerate development and debugging workflows.
