Responsibilities
- Build automation scripts for product scalability and stability.
- Translate manual test cases into automated tests.
- Execute and maintain the automation test suite.
- Evaluate build quality through test results.
- Define test data and reports for requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Participate in production deployments and provide feedback.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of automated tests.
- Troubleshoot issues and raise defects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a developer, automation engineer, or performance engineer.
- Strong coding skills in Java and knowledge of OOP principles.
- Experience with automated testing in continuously deployed environments.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA.
- Understanding of APIs and automation tools like Postman.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Selenium.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues using logs and monitoring tools.
- Experience with database testing (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with Agile principles and DevOps practices.
