Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure provisioning automation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify pain points and improve internal architecture for scalability and resilience.
- Build and scale a cloud-agnostic infrastructure platform spanning multiple continents.
- Develop expertise in service mesh, container technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strengthen product engineering efforts and contribute to the broader Telnyx technology stack.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development and infrastructure operations experience.
- Strong experience managing Kubernetes and developing applications, with on-premises cluster management as a preferred qualification.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Golang.
- Expertise in at least one configuration language such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
- Experience shaping and improving CI/CD infrastructure design, architecture, and implementation support.
- General knowledge of container technologies, Linux networking, and operating systems.
- Understanding of DNS, HTTP, and TLS networking protocols; BGP knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of service discovery and service mesh architectures is preferred.
