Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain stateful multi-agent systems using LangGraph for complex business tasks.
- Implement and optimize Gemini Enterprise interactions using prompt engineering, function calling, and structured outputs.
- Design agent state, persistence, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints for reliable automated decision-making.
- Write production-ready Python code for APIs and services supporting Okta’s internal AI ecosystem.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines to provide agents with accurate, real-time enterprise context.
- Deploy and manage containerized services on GCP using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Promote testing, security, and CI/CD practices for production-ready AI services.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of software engineering experience with deep Python expertise and familiarity with its asynchronous ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph or similar frameworks such as LangChain, including stateful application design with cycles, nodes, and conditional edges.
- Experience working with frontier models such as Gemini or GPT-4, including prompt versioning, token constraints, and model behavior.
- Understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and building or consuming APIs.
- Ability to take defined workflows or prototypes through production with minimal oversight.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across team boundaries.
