Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native user-plane services for 5G Core networks.
- Build and optimize high-performance networking software on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Develop packet-processing functions using DPDK.
- Deliver scalable microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Own services end-to-end across development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to improve performance, resiliency, and scalability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Troubleshoot complex networking and cloud infrastructure issues in production.
- Improve software quality, test coverage, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong software development experience with C, C++, Go, or similar systems programming languages.
- Solid Linux development and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and network protocols.
- Experience with DPDK and high-performance packet processing.
- Experience building cloud-native applications and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI, Jenkins, Cloud Build, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with REST and/or gRPC APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with cloud-based databases, distributed systems, observability and monitoring tools, telecommunications, 5G Core, cloud-native networking, large-scale production environments, or carrier-grade systems.
