Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable backend microservices, REST APIs, and modular frontend application layers.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and data modeling through deployment, automation, and production support.
- Optimize code, browser rendering, database execution, and time and space complexity.
- Improve availability, multi-tenant fault tolerance, security compliance, and observability across backend and frontend systems.
- Lead technical strategy, architectural reviews, development roadmaps, and cross-functional engineering execution.
- Troubleshoot production performance issues including slow database queries and state-management memory leaks.
- Mentor 2–4 engineers and promote architectural, OOPS, and SOLID design practices.
- Integrate generative AI tools into full-stack development workflows.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience building and scaling full-stack applications.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative technical field.
- Expertise in data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and time and space complexity.
- Proven ability to design highly available, fault-tolerant, multi-tenant systems spanning APIs, web architectures, schemas, and data models.
- Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL systems, caching strategies, microservices, and distributed queuing systems.
- Strong understanding of frontend component lifecycles, state management, and client-side performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation, DevOps tooling, and AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Practical experience using generative AI tools for coding efficiency and technical exploration.
- Track record of building complex systems from scratch and scaling them through multiple production iterations.
- Experience managing technical initiatives, coordinating cross-functional engineering work, and mentoring engineers.
- Strong technical communication, logical reasoning, documentation, maintainability, and scalability skills.
