Base Salary
$66k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Clean and analyze large datasets from engine sensors, test rigs, and fleet operations.
- Build, train, and validate machine learning models for engineering knowledge search, anomaly research, production support, and predictive maintenance.
- Build and deploy tools that deliver insights on Rolls-Royce products.
- Collaborate with IT and Rolls-Royce engineering teams to identify and implement valuable digital technology applications.
- Document work clearly and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Work across multidisciplinary teams supporting mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Physics.
- US citizenship is required.
- Preferred: at least one year of machine learning experience, including internships.
- Experience or interest in modern software development methodologies and coding languages.
- Experience or interest in surrogate modeling, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.
- Systems thinking, communication, time management, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary problem-solving skills.
