Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and document state-of-the-art algorithms.
- Design and implement deep learning frameworks for model optimization.
- Develop algorithms for deep learning, data analytics, machine learning, and scientific computing.
- Analyze the performance of GPU implementations.
- Benchmark software stacks across training and inference scenarios.
- Evaluate the capabilities of frontier models.
- Collaborate with internal partners, users, team members, and the open-source community.
Requirements
- Pursuing an MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Math, or a related field.
- Excellent Python programming, debugging, performance analysis, and test design skills.
- Strong algorithms and mathematical fundamentals.
- Good understanding of deep learning fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and manage development efforts.
- Good communication and documentation habits.
- Preferred: deep learning experience; experience with PyTorch, deep learning frameworks, and large language models; knowledge of pruning, neural architecture search, distillation, quantization, and CPU/GPU architecture; or a first-author publication at a top-tier deep learning or AI conference.
