Base Salary

$118k - $177k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and commercialize software and firmware solutions for Cloud Edge and Data Center machine-learning use cases.
  • Develop and debug low-level embedded C software, BSPs, device drivers, and applications in Embedded Linux environments.
  • Perform board bring-up and work with RTOS, secure boot, TrustZone, SoC architecture, multi-threaded programming, and hardware blocks.
  • Contribute to ML acceleration, process-in-memory, memory management, virtualization, power and clock management, PCIe, and DMA-based data movement.
  • Collaborate with internal, cross-functional, and international multi-site teams on novel software designs.
  • Use unit testing, source-code and configuration-management tools, debugging tools, emulators, profilers, and hardware analysis equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience; or a master's degree and 1+ year of such experience; or a PhD in a related field.
  • 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • 2+ years of low-level C programming experience, including debugging and testing on embedded platforms.
  • Experience with BSP development, device drivers, board bring-up, RTOS, secure boot design, TrustZone architecture, and Embedded Linux.
  • Knowledge of RTOS fundamentals, SoC architecture, hardware blocks, multi-threaded programming, unit testing, and source/configuration management.
  • Preferred familiarity with PyTorch, JAX, Llama.cpp, PCIe, LPDDR, USB, UFS, ECC, PCI AER, I2C, SPI, SPMI, AVSBus, PMBus, Qualcomm QuRT, ARM Cortex-A, Hexagon DSPs, and Qualcomm middleware.
  • Preferred experience with Glink, QDSS, DVFS, DCVS, interrupt controllers, timers, compilers, profilers, emulators, JTAG, serial debuggers, and logic analyzers.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a structured, international, multi-site team.
