Quality Engineer
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain mission-critical processing services across the full application development lifecycle, with focus on security, compliance, and interoperability.
- Create and maintain automated tests for the data intelligence platform across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing layers.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to identify requirements and take solutions from initial design through production.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and other engineering best practices.
- Experiment with new technologies, platform ecosystems, and AI-assisted approaches to improve automation, platform capabilities, and engineering efficiency.
- Improve application quality, reliability, and testing practices across the DDX business unit.
- Share testing expertise and quality engineering best practices to support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience designing, implementing, testing, and operating software applications or platform components.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or another modern programming language, with willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data structures, algorithms, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience building and maintaining automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing layers.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted QA automation and cloud networking concepts.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
