Responsibilities
- Lead execution and monitoring of automated production stability scripts.
- Drive automation strategies that improve application resiliency and reduce manual intervention.
- Oversee automated testing and stability validation for infrastructure and application changes.
- Translate stakeholder needs into automation deliverables, testing plans, and roadmaps.
- Provide quality oversight for infrastructure change testing in alignment with ITIL and change management protocols.
- Validate and approve automation assets before deployment to non-production and production environments.
- Lead incident analysis, root cause analysis, and efforts to improve testing coverage.
- Lead cross-functional teams delivering automation stability solutions within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate automated testing for application change deployments to protect application health and system resiliency.
- Lead automation projects, manage risks and escalations, and ensure delivery milestones are met.
- Partner with India-based leads to support handoffs, issue resolution, and continuous delivery across time zones.
- Manage test-account provisioning, de-provisioning, credential storage, access ownership, and annual access certifications.
- Monitor and report automation performance, stability trends, testing metrics, and SLA adherence.
- Design automation frameworks, unattended test suites, reusable solutions, and custom automation implementations.
- Review automation code and improve the resiliency and efficiency of automation scripts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure change testing and quality leadership.
- Experience leading automation teams and managing production stability initiatives.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, infrastructure change management, and Change Advisory Board meetings.
- Experience working with global teams, particularly USA-India collaboration models.
- Proficiency with Java, Python, or VBScript and automation tools including Selenium, UFT, LeanFT, RestAssured, TestNG, Cucumber, and Appium.
- Experience with web, REST/SOAP web services, Windows, WPF, and mainframe platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD and automation platforms including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
- Experience testing MSSQL, Oracle, DB2, AS400, Snowflake, and Cosmos DB databases.
- Experience designing automation frameworks, unattended automation test suites, custom automation solutions, and reusable design-pattern-based solutions.
- Experience with DevOps implementation, code review, multiple operating systems, monitoring, incident management, and automation framework development.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems and Dynatrace monitoring.
- Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban, Azure, Jira, ServiceNow, change management, CI/CD pipelines, and incident management platforms.
- Preferred experience with Shell and PowerShell scripting.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
